Pictures have shown a car marooned in a an old canal on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. A motorist noticed the car, which has been abandoned on Friday, April 15, almost completely covered by grass.
It had been left unattended in the Nottingham Canal at Cossall Road, between Nottingham Road, Trowell, and Cossall village. In the image showed the glossy red open top car amidst the tall grass of the area.
The reason why the car has been left in the field is not yet clear.
