Pictures show Audi supercar after driver ploughed into grass embankment on Princess Parkway

Pictures show an Audi supercar after it crashed into a grass embankment on Princess Parkway in Hulme.

The grey Audi R8 appears to have spun off the main road and carried on for a considerable way up the grass verge before coming to a stop.

Air bags on both the passenger and driver side appear to have been activated during the crash.

The male driver of the supercar doesn't appear to have been injured in the collision.

Pictures show the vehicle having come to a stop at a different angle to the direction of traffic.

Miraculously, the car appears to have remained largely intact during the crash, with some damage to the front bumper and wheels.

The speed limit along Princess Parkway is 30mph.

A police traffic officer attended the incident, and reportedly informed the driver of where his car was being recovered to.

No emergency services were seen at the scene of the crash.
