Pictures show aftermath of car fire which spread into home

Shocking pictures have revealed the aftermath of a car fire which spread to a nearby home.

Fire crews from Radstock and Bath were called to Woodborough Road in Radstock at around 7.41pm on Saturday evening (June 8).

On arrival, firefighters tackled a car fire which had spread to the front of a nearby property.

However, they were able to prevent the blaze from spreading further inside the home.

Photos taken from the scene show the burnt out wreckage of the car.

Avon Fire and Rescue has confirmed they believe the cause of the fire was accidental.

"At 7.41pm, fire engines from Radstock and Bath attended a car fire which spread to a property in Woodborough Road, Radstock," a fire service spokesman said.
