A stunning sunrise could be seen across Greater Manchester this morning.
Many Mancunians have been taking to social media sites to share images they have snapped of the skies while on their way to work.
Some of the images showed skyscrapers in the city centre illuminated by pink skies behind them, while other pictures showed suburban streets waking up to the sunrise.
It was a clear overnight in the region, which meant many people woke up to frosty cars.

The bright skies are expected to last until the afternoon.
It will turn increasingly windy in the afternoon and then rain is expected to arrive at around 6pm.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 13C.
Overnight there will be bursts of rain, which will be heavy at times.
Temperatures will be much milder compared to recent evenings, with the mercury dipping to just 8C.
There will be variable amounts of cloud throughout the day on Friday and some sunny spells are likely.
It will feel breezy at times and a few outbreaks of rain are possible.
