These are the shocking images that show firefighters battling an early morning blaze in south Dublin.
The Dublin Fire Brigade crew raced to the scene of a fire in a community facility in Killinarden, Tallaght.
One of the pictures taken from inside the building show a room completely destroyed by the smoke and flames.
The brave firefighters were called after gardai on patrol noticed heavy smoke coming from the facility.
Three fire engines were at the scene as crews used breathing apparatus and a fan to ventilate the building.
A DFB spokesperson said on Twitter: “In the early hours, firefighters were called to a fire in a community facility in Killinarden, Tallaght.
“Gardaí on patrol noticed heavy smoke and 3 fire engines were sent to the scene. Crews used breathing apparatus and a fan was deployed to ventilate the building.”
