In a Facebook post, GMP Middleton said the neighbourhood team raided a house on Tuesday, 8 June and recovered 68 mountain bikes and various different kinds of power tools.

Commenting on post, one witness wrote: "Across from my house, watched them bring them out. Was there all day he was a busy lad."

Police said detailed images of the stolen bikes and tools will be shared on social media (Manchester Evening News)

Police said officers would need to spend some time cataloging the items and obtaining serial numbers.

Images of each item will then be shared on social media to try and reunite the items back with their owerns.

In the meantime, officers shared an image of the haul now that it has all been catalogued after help from crime scene investigators.

No details have been shared by police of any arrests or charges.
