International rap star Coolio has been spotted shooting a music video in south Dublin.
In a random turn of events the Gangsta's Paradise hitmaker delighted fans with his appearance at the O’Rahilly and Whelan House in Dublin.
He was seen filming a new music video with Ringsend rap legends Versatile.
This comes after Coolio revealed how he was a big fan of the local rap scene especially Versatile in June.
He told Dublin Live: “I love Versatile, and how they keep the accent. Their lyrics sound hot as hell and original because they keep the accent."
The Outburst Crew were only delighted to hear their antics have made Ringsend an international arts hub - and their reaction to Coolio's comments got a lot of attention.
So it was only natural this was going to be the next step - and the good people at Leopardstown saw the love-story unfold and invited them out to see what would happen.
They said: "After an interview with Dublin Live where American rap artist Coolio name checked the Dublin rap group Versatile and complimented their style, Versatile responded on Twitter with excitement.
"The above tweet led to amazing responses on Twitter from the duo's followers and the band themselves so the hand was extended for them to come and meet with the veteran American performer who has been touring for the past 25 years."
