Brave firefighters rushed to the scene of a waste fire in west Dublin last night.
The crew from Tallaght fire station tackled the blaze in Lucan off Griffeen Avenue just days before Christmas.

A spokesperson for the emergency service said: “Crews were called tonight to a waste fire in Lucan off Griffeen avenue. Firefighters from Tallaght fire station attended.”

Just yesterday we reported that gardai were investigating after multiple cars went up in flames in a short space of time in South Dublin.
The Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the first scenes as four cars were damaged in less than two hours around the Ballinteer area.
The first call came in for Marley Court at around 5.20 on Saturday morning before two more cars were found ablaze on nearby Ballinteer Drive, according to Nova.
Five minutes later another vehicle was on fire at the Dale Complex.
Gardai are now probing the cause of the fires while the Dublin Fire Brigade say nobody was injured.
