Picture This: EK photographer captures images of daily life as we return to new normal

This has been a very mixed week.

A week where reports and stats tell us we are heading in the wrong direction and yet every day life tells us we are almost back to normal.

I visited Prestwick Airport to see the arrival of Antonov An-225 the worlds largest cargo plane.

Not having considered thousands of others would have the same idea.

Using my zoom lens I managed to stay away from any large clusters of people, but the place was absolute chaos.

Abandoned cars for miles and crowds literally covering the full perimeter of the airport.

A couple of rainy days later I ventured out again this time to a much quieter Calderglen nature trail. Passing by the sight of some of our grass starting to be cut and autumn leaves would you believe.

I didn't spend too much time down the Glen due to groups of teenagers hanging around a now heavily over-grown and vandalised Calderglen Castle ruin.

Then came the sun. It was back again. Even if for just a few days.

I headed into Glasgow for a walk along the Clyde in the sunshine.

Playing around with some reflection shots as well as some street photography on a dangerously busy Buchanan street, bustling with shoppers and street performers, finishing off with a visit to Central Station.
