Picture This: East Kilbride photographer shines light on jewel of conservation village

Having only been an East Kilbride resident since 2012 I still have a lot to learn about it as a place.

After watching a YouTube video titled ‘East Kilbride – The Making of a Town,’ I was inspired to wander around the village viewing it in my own artistic way.

I try to take most of my photographs different from normal. Sometimes slightly, sometimes greatly.

This could be viewing the building or subject from a different angle, or focusing on a smaller part of the subject. I feel this shows the subject in a more striking and unusual fashion, hopefully standing out from the crowd.
