Picture special: Christie Park Primary Christmas fair

Christie Park Primary School and Friends of Christie Park held their Christmas fair at the end of last month.

There was a variety of festive stalls offering homemade children’s gifts, a raffle, children and adult tombola, preloved children’s clothes and Christmas jumpers to name but a few.

There was also a Christmas grotto where the children were able to pay Santa Claus a visit, assisted by some helpful elves.

There was a great turnout with funds raised to go towards school trips and outings for the children throughout the year.

There was also tea, coffee and mince pies.

The event helped kick off the Christmas season for all the children and adults there to get them into the festive spirit.
