Christian Pulisic is now getting to know his new Chelsea teammates after joining up with Frank Lampard's squad at the start of the week.
The United States international joined the club for £57.6million from Borussia Dortmund at the start of January but he returned on loan to the Bundesliga club for the remainder of the season.
Having played his part in helping his country reach the Gold Cup final at the start of this month, the youngster returned early from his holiday so that he could make a quick impression on the new head coach with the start of the Premier League season just over three weeks away.
Pulisic is now in contention to play for the first time in a blue shirt on Friday night when Chelsea face Kawasaki Frontale in Yokohama in the opening game of their tour of Japan.
Lampard is once again expected to shuffle his pack as he looks to give each of his squad minutes on the pitch in their third friendly of the summer.
That means Pulisic will more than likely play some part in the game, although it may just be 45 minutes like the head coach has given the players in the previous games against Bohemians and St Patrick's Athletic.
A clash against La Liga champions Barcelona then follows four days later in Saitama before the squad jet off back to the capital.
