Picture shows topless man arrested by gardai after car 'driven into groups of people' in Dundalk, Co Louth

Here is the shocking moment a topless man was arrested by gardai after a car reportedly drove into groups of people at a cemetery.

It is understood the incident took place while a crowd were attending a mass at St Patrick’s cemetery in Dundalk.

Emergency services are currently at the scene and gardai have said a number of people have received injuries.

A garda spokesman said: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently dealing with an incident at Dowdallshill, Dundalk Co Louth.

“It is understood from initial investigations that one pedestrian was seriously injured and a number of other pedestrians received minor injuries following a road traffic collision.

“The incident occurred at approximately 4pm today, Sunday 21st July 2019."
