This stunning snap of majestic Castle Tioram and its impressive rock formations takes the crown in this week’s Picture Scotland contest.
Mark Reynolds captured the imposing ruin, which sits on an island in the middle of Loch Moidart in Lochaber, last week during a lazy stroll in the Highlands.
The image is all the more impressive as it is set against a gentle summer sky filled with billowing wispy clouds.
Elsewhere, Gerry Doherty’s photo of a lone deer wandering through Glencoe in the early evening also deserves special credit.
The Dumbarton photographer’s image features Buachaille Etive Mòr reflecting in a mirror-like pond – perfect timing.
