Picture Scotland: Scots snapper captures fiery sky over Aberdeenshire beach

The sky’s the limit for this week’s stunning Picture Scotland entries.

Terry Robertson captured a fiery sky over Balmedie beach, Aberdeenshire, and he takes home the top prize for his efforts.

Elsewhere, Ian Barnes’s image of a tree in Clackmannan showed a different sunset and a rain dump in the Ochil hills.

The last light of the day and a long exposure allowed Kieran McAuley to get this majestic snap of Bow Fiddle Rock near Portknockie.

And Pixie the dog enjoyed the spring skies at Fyrish Monument, one of Scotland's most unique follies, in Ross-shire, while walking with Kelly MacLeod.
