Picture Scotland: Scot sums up Scotland's dreich weather with beautiful shot

Dreich is the word for this winning Edinburgh scene caught by Ian Barnes through a window.

Ian said: "I was sitting at a restaurant window in Edinburgh having a bite to eat and took this photo of the wild weather outside.

"The rain on the glass, the drenched umbrella, and the distance lights all make it the perfect summation of Scottish Weather this week."

Mark Reynolds snapped the church of St Mary and St Finnan in Glenfinnan in the morning light.

Snapper Sylvia Watson caught a vibrant mallard duck in Rozelle Country Park in Ayr in a colourful Autumnal photograph.
