Picture Scotland: Scot captures atmospheric pic of choppy sea at Lossiemouth beach

Frances Waite’s moody image of looming clouds over a choppy sea at Lossiemouth East Beach is our Picture Scotland winner this week.

Meanwhile, Ian Barnes captured a wonderful sunset over the Ochil Hills, between Alloa and Cambus as he stood in a golden hay bale strewn field.

He said: "Taken on a walk between Alloa and Cambus. A stunning scene, the hay bales ready for lifting by the farmer, a low cloud below the Ochil Hills with Dumyat sitting proud and a lovely tranquil sky. A few geese on the left flying to finish it off."

Amateur snapper Faye McSpurren took an incredibly atmospheric image at James Hamilton Heritage Park in East Kilbride that is breath taking.
