Picture Scotland: Astonishing shot of icy fountain in Paisley takes top prize

Most of the snow has melted and temperatures are on the up – but we can still look back at the winter weather, and in particular, the recent cold snap and say “that was ice”.

Certainly our readers have captured it in all its picturesque glory.

This week’s winner is Jean Andrew’s nephew, Adam who took this stunning icicle-drenched photo of the Fountain Gardens in Paisley.
