'Rowland Jones' by Rowland Jones: writer, scribbler, musician, and all-round media tart returned to Cheadle after seven years in Italy. Photograph: Rowland Jones/GuardianWitnessPhotograph: Other'Balance, Blades and Shadows' by moses67: The image shows a street performer in London's Covent Garden and myself in shadow form. Since I've taken up photography as a passion, I'm always looking for that unusual or different angle. I'm fascinated by city shots, from the panoramic to the more intimate; images that tell a story or capture a mood without hitting you over the head. I'd love to take the plunge into commercial and travel photography and ultimately set up selling stock images as well as prints/canvasses of my images. In the meantime, I'll keep looking for those unusual angles and new possibilities. Photograph: moses67/GuardianWitnessPhotograph: Other'I am an artist' by Urso_do_Relvas: Pick one of these. 'Organic Architect' by Paul Coleman: I build houses and walls out of earth and turf and unite them with organic gardens. This is the house where my wife and I live in Patagonia, Chile. From the window we have a spectacular view of the confluence of two rivers that flow from the Andes to the Pacific. Our region is famous for its natural beauty and the house was built so as not to intrude on the scenic grandeur of our adoptive land. Photograph: Paul Coleman/GuardianWitnessPhotograph: Other'Here we have the illustrator in its natural habitat…' by Heather Malone: In the daytime I have an ordinary job where I am a (relatively) normal human being. At night I become an illustrator, hiding away in my cavern with just my pen, paper and imagination, working relentlessly to put my heart and soul into my work. I have a thick skin and wear armour to protect myself from the annoying little pixies that want me to fail. I am studious and always looking to improve my skills. But deep down I love what I do so much that one day I hope my human side and my demon side will finally work together. Photograph: Heather Malone/GuardianWitnessPhotograph: Other'My pen countrywoman' by Felix Kanor Tetteh: This is one of my pen-works, done using ball point pens on paper. Photograph: Felix Kanor Tetteh/GuardianWitnessPhotograph: Other'Michelle Ranson teaching in her studio' by Shelly Ranson: Michelle Ranson is an award-winning and internationally selling artist, specialising in abstract paintings. I specialise in portrait and story driven pictorial narratives. I have had a chance to conduct photograph assignments in the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe. I am currently pursuing a more personal photography, while emphasising the place of human beings in nature.
