Picture exclusive: Emil Krafth arrives at Newcastle United's training ground to complete transfer

Emil Krafth has arrived at Newcastle United's training base in Benton to complete his move from Ligue 1 side Amiens.

The Sweden international will look to provide competition at right-back for DeAndre Yedlin and Javier Manquillo.

Newcastle have been watching Krafth in the last season or so but scouts were spotted in the crowd in July for Amiens' friendly with Hull City .

The 25-year-old had three years left of his deal with the French club but is now set to sign a deal with the Magpies and get his dream of playing in the Premier League.

He has 20 caps for Sweden and has played for his country at every level since Under-17s.

Krafth has previously starred for Bologna and Helsingborgs before making the switch to Amiens in 2018 after a successful loan stint.

Speaking on transfers Steve Bruce said: "We are still hopeful that we have one or two things up our sleeve. I hope we are not finished (in the transfer market).

"We will know a little bit more in the next 24 hours. I would envisage we still have one or two bits still to do."
