Andy Carroll has arrived at St James’ Park to complete his move to Newcastle United.
The striker will arrive on a free transfer , having agreed in principle to a return to St James' Park.
Carroll’s deal will be a pay as you play contract with the striker arriving at the ground via a friend’s car just after 3pm today.

Head coach Steve Bruce made it clear to his managing director Lee Charnley that Carroll was worth the risk - despite limited game-time in recent years.
He is now completing the paper work and going through the usual formalities with United hoping to announce the deal in due course.
