Picnics meet art at Central Embassy

Central Embassy presents "The Living Ground: Hope's Garden", a vibrant picnic garden for urban dwellers to reconnect with life through blooming flowers and art, until June 7.

This is the first collaboration between two creative forces. Vachboy is the artist behind the widely recognised flower character Hope and known for his distinctive neo-pop art style, while Eyedropper Fill is a leading experiential design studio.

Together, they have transformed the shopping mall into a picnic garden-meets-interactive art exhibition to inspire positivity and encourage visitors to reconnect with the value of their true selves.

The highlight is a large-scale interactive art installation on the ground floor, centred around the 5m-tall Hope sculpture presented in a purple gradient palette that blends the familiarity of nature with surreal elements.

The moment visitors step in to hug Hope, instantly, the lights and the expressions of the flower friends transform into joyful smiling faces, reflecting how hope can be shared and passed on from one person to another.

Visitors can also interact with various flower companions in playful ways and enjoy the thoughtfully curated activities. They include a workshop to create and customise one-of-a-kind lifestyle items of our own design, led by Vachboy from this Friday to Sunday May 29-31; an immersive musical journey through vinyl sounds by DJ Vinyl from June 1-4 and a pop-up vinyl store with a live DJ Vinyl session from June 5-7.

There are also a "Hope Makers Market By Happening" which brings a unique selection of art and lifestyle products from more than 50 artists and creators and the "Craft The Earth By Qualy" exhibition featuring more than 30 painting and sculpture works by 15 contemporary Thai artists.

The exhibition is accompanied by a sustainable market and interactive workshops, inviting visitors to explore sustainable living concepts through art and design from June 3 to 30, at Open House, 6th floor.
