Pickup truck loaded with bottles of 'animal medication' stolen in East Lothian

A pickup truck loaded with "animal medication" has been stolen in an East Lothian village.

The black Nissan Navara 4x4 was taken from outside a property in Innerwick some time between 1am an 6am on Monday (25 March).

Inside the £20,000 vehicle at the time was three 100ml bottles of Tamox Penicillin, which police say is a clear liquid with blue label, and two 50ml bottles of antibiotic Alamycin.

Three bottles of anti-inflammatory drug Lodine with ten syringes and one 50ml bottle of Draxxin – an antibiotic used to treat bovine respiratory disease in cattle – was also in the car.

Police are urging anyone who was in and around the Innerwick or Dunbar areas between 1am and 6am on Monday, and who saw or heard anything suspicious, to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact officers on 101, quoting incident number 0447 of 25 March. Alternatively get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
