Pickpockets are lurking in these city centre streets, police say

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for information after four pickpocket thefts in Nottingham city centre.

The incidents happened in the early hours of Friday, November 29.

Neighbourhood Inspector for the city centre, Paul Gummer, said: "These incidents involved people being approached by two men and having their phones stolen from their pockets.

"Our officers are investigating, including looking through CCTV, and I encourage anyone who may have seen anything to get in touch with us.

"I would also urge people to be cautious about how they carry their phones and be aware of people trying to distract them when out and about."

The incidents happened in Upper Parliament Street, Angel Row and Talbot Street.

If you have information which could help the investigation, call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 45 of 29 November 2019.
