Pickle-flavored Doritos now available in the U.S.

Doritos’ pickle-flavored chips are now available in stores across the U.S., according to Frito-Lay.

The limited time offer started this week and will be available only at Dollar General and Circle K. The suggested retail price is $4.29 for the 9.75 oz bags and $1.89 for the 2.75 oz bags.

The popular flavor was available in other countries, including Canada, going by the name of “Intense Pickle.”

“As someone who enjoys pickle-flavored Pringles and ate pickle and tuna sandwiches as a kid, I’m disappointed the U.S. hasn’t had pickle-flavored Doritos before,” said Instagram user @theimpulsivebuy.

Instagram users were also excited about what this new addition could lead to.

“I’m eating Taco Bell right now, imagine a pickle Doritos taco,” reads the comment by user @chrisschonholtz.

As someone who enjoys pickle-flavored Pringles and ate pickle and tuna sandwiches as a kid, I'm disappointed the U.S. hasn't had pickle-flavored Doritos before. But now we have them and I can enjoy the buildup of pickle-flavored Doritos dust on my fingers. Also, the I in pickle on the front of the bag has been replaced with a lightning bolt. That right there makes me forgive Frito-Lay for taking so long to bring pickle Doritos to the U.S. Spotted by Grace B at Dollar General.
