Picking one player each of the 32 NFL teams should sign in free agency

Now that the NFL’s deadline for slapping the franchise tag on players has officially passed, we can turn our attention to every fanbase’s favorite time of the year: Free agency!

Teams can start contacting prospective signees on March 15 but can’t officially sign them until March 17. During those two days, almost every fanbase will turn on their team’s front office because “THEY AREN’T DOING ENOUGH,” but I’m here to remind you that throwing cash at a bunch of big-named free agents rarely works out (but here’s our ranking of the top 50 anyway.)

It’s the teams that make one or two smart signings that actually win free agency. With that in mind, I’ve tried to pick out one perfect signing for all 32 teams. Now, some teams are hamstrung by abysmal cap situations, so you might not be too excited about your team’s pick. But don’t blame me for that. That’s on your team’s front office.
