Whether we like it or not, Christmas is coming. With just days until the markets and Festival Village open, next think you know it will be December 25.
But, in the meantime, we can all make the most of the festive season and take full advantage of the merry-making - just check out this magical après "ski lodge".
Maybe, you aren't too fussed about mulled wine and hot chocolates but could you be tempted by a "gin hut" and "gin hot toddys"?
If the answer is "yes", you will want to get yourself along to Pickering’s pop-up at The Festival Village above Waverley Mall, which returns this Thursday (14 November).
The undercover pop-up will have live music to keep you entertained and will also be heated, to protect revellers from the rather chilly Edinburgh elements.
Pickering's Gin will be serving up their brand new festive flavours, gin hot toddys and other warming Pickering’s cocktails,including the Go Fig or Go Home (a Figgy Pudding twist on the classic Old Fashioned).
The Edinburgh-based gin distillers will also be setting up shop at the Edinburgh's Christmas Market, where elves will be serving up samples and selling festive flavours.
This year, Pickering’s have created a brand new Christmas-inspired pack of baubles, which includes a brussels sprout flavour gin and plum and ginger gin.
Edinburgh’s Christmas Markets open this Saturday (16 November), until Saturday 4 January.
