Few Gasheads would have believed you two months ago if you told them Bristol Rovers would have deals wrapped up for the likes of Zain Westbrooke and Max Ehmer long before the start of the season.
But that is the reality we are living in. The Gas have six new players on board with Westbrooke and Ehmer joined by Josh Grant, Jack Baldwin, Sam Nicholson and Jonah Ayunga in making the move to the Mem.
The result is huge optimism growing amongst a fanbase wowed by Ben Garner's business so far, and with the deal for Westbooke – who joined from Coventry City for an undisclosed fee – announced on Monday the Pirates have an exciting line-up building on paper.
