Pick your all-time Hearts Scottish Cup final winning team

The virtues of the players across Hearts' three Scottish Cup winning teams from the previous 21 years have been discussed often.

Jim Jefferies' Hearts side of 1998 was about as perfectly balanced as it was likely to get. Stefano Salvatori anchoring midfield allowed Stevie Fulton to pick out passes and Colin Cameron to get forward and support the varied front three of Neil McCann, Stephane Adam and Thomas Flogel.

At the back, Gary Naysmith's youth, pace and attacking instincts were curbed on the other side by the experience and defensive solidity of Dave McPherson. In the middle, Paul Ritchie and David Weir could defend and play.

The 2006 version under Valdas Ivanauskas was more expensively assembled but packed with Individual talent. Edgaras Jankauskas was a Champions League winner, Takis Fyssas a European champion with Greece while Paul Hartley and Rudi Skacel were the two most dangerous goal-scoring midfielders in the country.

Defensively, Steven Pressley held everything together in front of Craig Gordon, who was Scotland's number one goalkeeper,

In 2012, Skacel was back and as lethal as ever with his left foot and Andy Driver and Suso Santana provided the width.

Ian Black sat in front of converted centre back Darren Barr to add some steel to midfield. Andy Webster, who missed out in 2006 due to a fall out with Vladimir Romanov, partnered captain Marius Zaliukas, with fan favourite Ryan McGowan at right full back, Danny Grainger on the left.

Who of the three teams would make your combined eleven however, and would it see off Celtic at Hampden and prevent a treble treble? Use our pick the team widget below to make your choice.
