'Pick up your drugs and wads of cash' cops tell blunder dealer who put haul on display in parked car

A blundering drug dealer left a wads of cash and a stash including cocaine and heroin on display in his parked car.

The haul was laid out in full view of passersby, including cops called to the scene about a man acting suspiciously.

Now they've taken to social media to tell the owner exactly where he can come to claim his gear, which also includes cannabis, amphetamine and a set of scales.

Police reveal that officers were alerted to odd behaviour yesterday, Manchester Evening News reports.

When detectives arrived at the Chorlton area of the city they found the "potentially valuable" items on display, along with stolen goods.

The car has was taken into a police compound and officers invited the owner to come and collect it and shared an image of the haul of items on Facebook .

The tongue in cheek message to the car owner said: " Following a report of a male acting suspiciously near to a vehicle in Chorlton, officers attended to check everything was in order but it appeared that the owner of the vehicle had left some potentially valuable items on display.

"In order to ensure that the vehicle wasn't broken into by anyone, officers took the vehicle to a police compound, where the owner can come and collect it.

"We've also taken the items that we believe are cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine, heroin and stolen goods and kept them safe for them also.

"We can check when they pick their car up if they want to lay claim to them. Or the few hundred pounds in cash. Or the scales."
