MADNESS

Madness singer Suggs and keyboard player Mike Barson got together with a string quartet for a socially-distanced performance featuring classic tracks like My Girl, Our House and It Must Be Love.

THE CRIBS with LEE RANALDO

Yorkshire indie band The Cribs got together with Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo across four different locations to record a version of their 2007 song Be Safe.

PAUL NOONAN

Last Friday it was the turn of Bell X1 frontman Paul Noonan to take to the stage of the National Concert Hall for a solo performance. Folk singer Lisa O’Neill takes up the challenge tonight.

THE RUBY SESSIONS

This week’s Ruby Sessions At Home paid tribute to Dublin's busking tradition by introducing two of our finest street performers – Padraig Cahill and Rosie Byrne.

The Northern Irish rock stalwarts have been doing semi-regular ‘lockdown versions’ of classic tracks, and this week they picked their 1994 single Nowhere.

The rock legends have uncovered some rarely-seen material from 1994’s Voodoo Lounge tour for this week’s dose of ‘Extra Licks’.

LAUREN GUILLERY

DeBarra’s Folk Club in Clonakilty have been inviting friends to perform from home on their Facebook page, and this week the French-born, West Cork-based indie-rock musician Lauren Guillery stepped up with her acoustic guitar.

RADIOHEAD
