Dublin Art Book Fair at Temple Bar Gallery (until Sunday)

This year’s event is focused on the twentieth-century’s most innovative and influential school of art, craft, design and architecture – Bauhaus.

Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo (until January 5)

Dublin Zoo will be transformed into a spectacular winter wonderland by over a thousand lanterns, featuring magical scenes from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Jungle Book, nursery rhymes and Irish myths.

THEATRE

Drama at Inish at the Abbey Theatre (until January 24)

The classic Irish farce was first performed in 1933, but this production transposes the action to the 1960s.

Giant Swan and DeFekt at Tengu (Friday)

Hard-hitting, punked-up techno from the Bristol live act, with support from Laois’s finest – electro DJ (and Sunil Sharpe collaborator) DeFekt.
