Mental health arts charity First Fortnight are running their The Art Of Mental Health festival at venues across the country. On Saturday, The Workmans Club will host performances from poet Stephen James Smith, indie band Ham Sandwich and more.

Dublin Bowie Festival at various venues (until Sunday)

This year’s festival marks the third anniversary of Bowie’s death with a range of gigs, talks and other events.

The main attraction is the Bowie tribute band Holy Holy – featuring Spiders From Mars drummer Woody Woodmansey and long-time Bowie producer Tony Visconti – who play the Olympia on Saturday night.
