Pick Leeds United's strongest XI and formation following transfer deadline day

It was another busy transfer deadline day at Elland Road on Tuesday, as Leeds United were finally able to land long-term target Daniel James.

The Welsh winger was a £25million arrival from Manchester United, two-and-a-half years after his January 2019 deadline day move fell through in heartbreaking fashion at the 11th hour.

James followed Junior Firpo, Jack Harrison and Kristoffer Klaesson in as first-team signings this summer, as Leeds' spending moved past the £50million mark.

The squad is now locked in until January and while some fans may rue the failure to add a central midfielder, Marcelo Bielsa certainly has a stronger group of players at his disposal than he did last season, with no significant departures.
