Apparently Russell Westbrook and James Harden can throw bombs on and off the basketball court.
The Houston Rockets paid a visit to the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, where Westbrook and Harden laced up and threw shots at the punching bag.
The team underwent some training with UFC fighters such as Joseph Benavidez, Julian Marquez and Jessica Eye.
Here, Westbrook and Harden are seen working together on the punching bag.
Time will tell if they can work this effectively and collectively on the basketball court. The newly traded Westbrook will reunite with his former teammate Harden for the first time in more than seven years.
And top flyweight contender Benavidez is warning you not to mess with the Rockets this season.
Surely they’ll be ready if an on-court brawl breaks out, so expect a game Rockets team on and off the court.
