Phuket authorities have taken legal action against eight jet ski operators following a province-wide inspection campaign targeting unlicensed businesses and illegal foreign nominee arrangements.
The inspections on Saturday covered operators across the island.
Teams checked operating licences, business ownership structures and whether Thai nationals were unlawfully acting as nominees for foreign business owners.
Mr Romdon said legal action is underway and that authorities will continue inspections.
The crackdown is part of an effort to ensure fair competition, protect national interests and enhance transparency within Phuket's tourism sector, officials said.
