China Klay, Headband Klay and Game Six Klay are all well-known nicknames for Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson, Yet Tuesday night saw the arrival of a new persona — Movie Star Klay.
On Tuesday, Thompson attended the red carpet premiere of “Space Jam: A New Legacy” at Regal LA Live & 4DX theater in Hollywood. Along with LeBron James and his family, other stars like Zendaya, John Legend, Anthony Davis and Chris Bosh were in attendance for the primetime Hollywood event.

In the movie, Thompson will suit up for the “Goon Squad” with Davis, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, Los Angeles Sparks guard Nneka Ogwumike and Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi. The Goon Squad will reignite their rivalry with the Looney Tunes and James in the second edition of the 1996 classic with Michael Jordan.
Space Jam: A New Legacy will debut in theaters and on HBO Max on Friday, July 16.
