Heavy fighting continues as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine, prompting condemnation from around the world.

The United Nations General Assembly voted to reprimand Russia over the invasion, while anti-war protesters gathered in several cities, including St Petersburg.

World reacts to Russia's invasion of Ukraine

Russia's invasion of the Ukraine has prompted condemnation and offers of support from across the globe.

Members of the UN stood and applauded after a voting on a resolution concerning the Ukraine at an emergency meeting of the General Assembly.

Protests have been held in several cities including St Petersburg, Venice and London.

Meanwhile, the US is sending reinforcements to support NATO allies in Europe.
