Leeds United have released photos of their first day back in pre-season training, wearing their brand-new Adidas training kit.
It’s just over three weeks since the Whites played the final game of their incredible season and due to the delayed start to the new campaign, there is a much quicker turnaround.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side will play Premier League football for the first time in 16 years when they take to the pitch on September 12, which is now less than a month away.
The title-winning side have enjoyed a short break, but now it’s back to business as they look to maintain their place in the top-flight.
The Adidas kit is all black, with a white Leeds badge on the right, and the manufacturer’s logo a gold colour, with “Clipper”, the shirt’s sponsor, in a white font below.
However, fellow promoted sides West Bromwich Albion and Fulham are still taking a rest at the moment.
With the Cottagers, their promotion was confirmed more recently, after their play-off final triumph over Brentford.
The Premier League have today confirmed that the fixture list for the 2020-21 season will be released no later than Friday, August 21.
Leeds United will then know who they will kick off their first Premier League campaign for 16 years against and fans will be able to mark off the key dates in their calendars.
The Premier League has confirmed that the new season will kick off on the weekend of September 12 and will end on Sunday, May 23.
Dates for each of the 38 matchweeks have now been confirmed, with international breaks set to break up the schedule in the second weekends of October, November and the final weekend in March.
This confirmation comes after the FA announced the replays in the FA Cup will be scrapped for the 2020-21 season, plus a number of changes to the Carabao Cup schedule, including one-legged semi-finals.
