With the government shutdown entering its third week and no end in sight, congressional action mostly consisted of dueling leadership news conferences this week. Of course, the Capitol community did pause (or paws) to celebrate Babydog’s 6th birthday. Here are the images captured by CQ Roll Call photojournalists this week.
