Photos of snow paradise at Barrington Tops

The Barrington Tops have received another dusting of snow for the season with some lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the winter wonderland.

Kate Bohan visited the area for the first stages of a University of Newcastle study into an endangered species of frog found at the Tops. She arrived about 12.30pm on Tuesday and said the snow started to fall about 4pm.

"I believe it snowed almost all night," she said. "[It] was exceptionally windy throughout the night."

She said there was about 5cm of snow on the car on Wednesday morning.

Jasmin Mcgrath travelled up early on Wednesday morning and said there was about 10cm or more of snow

"We got up super early so left Singleton around 4am and got up to the gate at around 6:45," she said.

"The snow was falling from then until around 8:45.

"It was a nice heavy fall!"

Access to the Tops has been limited this year with the closure of Barrington Tops Forest Road after the March floods.
