The Boston Celtics have had a lot of trouble with the Oklahoma City Thunder in recent contests, but at TD Garden on Wednesday night, the Celtics had their way with the Thunder after the contest’s first frame.
The Celtics secured their 60th win of the season with a 135-100 blowout of Oklahoma City. Fueled by Boston winning the battle of the boards 46-31 and the march of dimes 33-21, doubling up the Thunder on rejections certainly did not help OKC’s cause. But the Celtics holding their opponent to just 20.8% from beyond the arc put the game out of reach in a hurry.
