The Boston Celtics made the trip to Canada to face the Toronto Raptors in the two teams’ second meeting and as many in-season tournament (IST) tilts so far this season, and the Raptors came out strong to take an early lead. But Boston battled back to close out the first half up 16.
Toronto would make a game of it in the second half, even briefly taking the lead multiple times and threatening to steal the win. But despite shooting just 34.8% from beyond the arc and getting outscored in the paint by 14 points, the Celtics survived the Raptors’ attack and now find themselves 2-o in IST play.
