Photograph released of man who died in West Lothian town on Monday night

Police have released a picture of the man who died in West Lothian this week.

Keith Allan died at Falside Crescent on Monday after reports of a disturbance in the area.

His family have given Police Scotland permission to release the picture.

Emergency services raced to Falside Crescent in Bathgate around 8pm on Monday evening but the man’s live could not be saved.

The 42-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and the cops have launched an urgent enquiry.

Following a post mortem, Keith’s death is now being treated as murder and a 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

The man was expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

The Courier revealed yesterday that another woman had died at the property a month earlier.

A police spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death on Tuesday, 8 June of a 51-year-old woman who was taken to hospital from a property on Falside Crescent in Bathgate.

“There were no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
