Phoebe Waller-Bridge goes from Fleabag to money bags as she rakes in £7m in a year

Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge may be one of the brains behind the TV show Killing Eve – but now she has made a killing of her own.

The 35-year-old actress and writer has raked in almost £7million in just a year.

Reserves in her company – which is concerned with TV production work – have shot up from £520,000 to £7.25million, according to details at Companies House.

The figures, covering the 12 months to the end of March 2020, are likely to include Phoebe’s fees for the hit BBC comedy-drama series, Killing Eve.

Fleabag, which she created and starred in, also became a global success during that time, meaning it may have provided her with another huge windfall.

Her writing work on the next Bond film, No Time to Die, may also be covered.

Phoebe’s company, PMWB Limited, has assets of £8.9million but creditors are owed £1.65million, reducing her reserves to £7.25million.

She is the sole shareholder but does not reveal if she paid herself a dividend.

Last year, Phoebe won two Golden Globes for her work and in September 2019, it was announced she had signed a contract reportedly worth up to £16million a year to make shows for Amazon.

She was back on screen earlier this month in the music video for Harry Styles’ latest single, Treat People With Kindness.
