Phoebe Waller-Bridge and her Emmys to host Saturday Night Live

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is set to make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut and she’ll have three glittering co-hosts.

The Fleabag star, 34, will take on presenting duties on October 5, when the musical guest will be Taylor Swift.

Waller-Bridge features in a special teaser for her evening of hosting, in which she cannot - and will not - be separated from her Emmys.

The skit sees the writer and actress refuses to let go of the awards while in various pitching meetings and attempting to call a lift.

In a night of surprises, Waller-Bridge was the stand-out winner of last month’s Emmy Awards, scooping prizes for writing and directing the second series of hit show Fleabag.

Killing Eve, which she serves as executive producer on, also triumphed, with Jodie Comer winning the biggest acting award of the night.

The Fleabag crew celebrated their wins at Amazon’s after-party, hosted at the iconic Chateau Marmont.

It was there that her pal Josh Cole took the picture of the night, as Waller-Bridge reclined on a sun lounger with a cigarette in one hand and a margarita in the other.
