ACT Policing have named Glenn Walewicz as the victim of the doorway shooting in Phillip as authorities renew their appeal for public help with investigations.
Just before midnight on June 10, emergency services received several calls about a gunshot in Mansfield Place.
Mr Walewicz, 48, was found with a single gunshot wound.
Paramedics assessed the man at the scene then took him to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
In a Thursday afternoon statement, ACT Policing said homicide detectives wanted to speak to members of the public who may have seen a small group of people behaving suspiciously in the greenbelt area adjacent to Athllon Drive, Phillip, between 10.30pm and midnight on June 11.
"These people may have been associated with a light-coloured four-door sedan parked on the Mawson side of Athllon Drive between Hindmarsh Drive and the Mawson shops," the statement reads.

"Investigators believe this group may have information relevant to the investigation and urge them to come forward to share what they may have seen or heard that night."
Detective Inspector Boorman on June 11 said police were unsure of the reason for the alleged attack but there was no evidence to suggest it was related to outlaw motorcycle gangs.
