Phillip Schofield was 'fuming' with This Morning before a hilarious prank left Holly Willoughby in tears.
A guest's makeover appeared to go Holly Willoughby in tears as This Morning guest's makeover goes horribly wrong as actress Carol started crying as she pretended to be offended.
Concerned presenter Holly then started panicking when Carol, who was supposedly on her way to a fancy lunch, was driven away in a car only for it to crash into the building.
Holly burst into tears when she found out it was an elaborate April Fool's Day joke and admitted she was "so relieved it wasn't real".
However, many viewers missed the moment where Phil pretended to be angry during the set up to the prank.

During a preview of what was to come, Lisa Snowdon gave the presenters a sneak of the lavish makeover outside of the dressing room.
Something was clearly wrong as Phil had a baffled look on his face and struggled to get his words out.
Looking at her co-host, Holly said: "I know what you’re going to say."
Pointing to the camera, Phillip shouted: "This is my dressing room."
Smiling Holly joked that Carol might be coming out in a Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Pretending to be angry, Phil said: "When I walked in this morning and there was a gold star on my door I thought 'ah that’s nice'.
"It was because you were doing it for this. I thought it was for my birthday."
Holding her arms out, giggling Lisa said: "Happy Birthday."
As Lisa and Holly cracked up, Phil replied: "Whatever, make sure you don’t touch anything."
Phil's acting skills were impeccable and Holly had no idea it was part of an April Fool's Day prank.
Even Coronation Street fell for the joke, admitting on their Twitter page: "You got us too! That was brilliant!"
This Morning viewers were also left in hysterics and took to Twitter after the hilarious prank.
One fan said: "And the National Television Award for Best April Fools Prank goes to @thismorning that was brilliant, fell for that!"
"Nearly fell off my sofa brilliant," added another.
A third said: "Omg I was watching this at the gym and nearly fell off the cross trainer ! I’m 50 this year and have a list of 50 things I want to try and do! One is for @LisaSnowdon_ to give me a makeover I’ve @thismorning . When she walked on I was mentally taking it off my list! Brilliant"
