Phillip Schofield tells This Morning viewers he was in an episode of Friends

ITV viewers were surprised to learn TV presenter Phillip Schofield could have made an appearance in another beloved TV show.

It turns out Schofe is a mega fan of the sitcom and went to an episode's filming back in the 1990s.

The cast were filming for series three and Phil thinks you can hear his voice in the episode.

And it's all down to his very distinctive laugh, Mirror Online reports.

Phil shared his experience on This Morning today (September 16).

He said: "I have actually been on Friends. I've been in an episode of Friends.

"Do you remember which one it was?" asked co-host Holly Willoughby.

"Yeah, the one where they keep the scary books in the fridge," he said, referring to The One Where Monica and Richard are just friends in which Rachel and Joey read each other's books.

He continued: "When I say I was on Friends... my laugh was on Friends."

Schofe said he laughed so loudly he was sure you would be able to hear his laugh in the episode itself.

Phil told viewers that when Joey says the line: "And how little are these women?" you can hear his laugh over the top.

Can you hear it?
