Phillip Schofield was forced to apologise on This Morning after Brian Cox slipped up and broke a golden TV rule.
The Succession actor was on the ITV show to chat to Phil and co-host Holly Willoughby about his six decades on stage and screen.
But as he promoted his autobiography, Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, he got into a bit of live TV bother.
"You've been very frank and very honest. But you found it quite cathartic?" Phillip asked the veteran actor.

"It was very cathartic," he said of penning his new book, which is out in January.
"Going back over the errors you've made in your life and the disasters that have happened.
"And also the opposite. You have to be truthful to who you are. I think that's one of the advantages of age.
"I'm 75 now so I'm not going to be p***ing around too much."
Holly and Phil both giggled at the slip up before Phil added: "Sorry about that."

Brian also apologised, commenting: "I will never say anything again. I promise you, never again."
The group laughed off the slip-up and carried on with the interview.
Brian was also asked about the recent incident involving Alec Baldwin.
Last month, Baldwin, 63, discharged a gun on the set of his new Western film which accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.
Brian said that his "heart completely goes out" to Baldwin as he recalled a "horrific" gun incident he experienced in the past.
When working as a stage manager he accidentally fired a blank from a gun that he was being shown "how to hand somebody".
The incident, Brain said, "burnt the end of the nose" of the other person.
